The book, "Greater Darkness", is written by a 46 year old mother of three residing in the state of Alabama (US). In 1998 an event took place which changed her life, and that of her children, forever. This is the first of three books to be spun from her experience involving domestic violence, the court system, and the system currently in place to assist victims of violence.

This book is written as fiction as it uses fictional characters in real life senarios. The intention of the Author is to present this book as an informational resource of procedures used in the cases of abuse, child custody, and safety procedures for victims and their families.

The Author wishes to instill hope in others who are experiencing difficulties in their lives. It is her faith in God that brought her through this experience. It is by the grace of God that she survived the events which have taken place.

Her message is simple; "Have faith".
